Did Kim Jong Un in a vegetative state? | Was Kim Jong in a botanical state?
A Japanese magazine says North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un had heart surgery earlier this month. China has sent a team to North Korea, including medical experts, to investigate Kim Jong-un, according to three people familiar with the situation.

The visit was conducted by Chinese doctors and officials amid conflicting news about the health of the North Korean ruler. It was not immediately clear what the visit by the Chinese team indicated in terms of Kim's health. North Korean media has not mentioned Kim's health or whereabouts, even though reports from other media have sparked international speculation about her well-being.

The Chinese expert told the magazine that Kim gripped her chest and fell to the ground on a trip to the countryside earlier this month. A doctor accompanying Kim performed CPR and took him to the nearest hospital. According to the weekly magazine, Kim, believed to be 36 years old, requires a stent procedure, which allows blood to place a tube in a full blood vessel.

Reuters said government officials in South Korea and a Chinese official from the Lisan department challenged later reports that Kim was in grave danger after the surgery. South Korean officials said they had not found any signs of unusual activity in North Korea. Kim is a third-generation hereditary leader who came to power in 2011 after his father Kim Jong-il died of a heart attack. He has visited China four times since 2018. Trump held an unprecedented summit with Kim in 2018 and 2019 as part of a bid to persuade him to leave North Korea's nuclear arsenal.
